Your safari commences with me picking you up from Cairns (Queensland), we then travel via vehicle to hunting property (1 million acres) in the famous Cape York.

Travel times are approx 7hrs from Cairns. The country is open eucalypt forest with many creeks, dams and swamps. The accommodation is at a comfortable Property Outstation with all the basic amenities being power, showers (hot & cold), flush toilet and full kitchen, and also utilize river camp with all amenities. Sleeping in swags on comfortable stretchers compliments the outback atmosphere.

The property boasts some excellent trophies with Record Class Tusks taken regularly, Big Scrub Bulls and Barramundi to fish for on your door step at the river camp. Dingoes & Cats are also on the agenda.

Season runs from July to October and can become extremely hot in the later months up to 36c. I only run 4 or 5 safaris in that time keeping the hunting area in pristine condition. Safaris are on a 6 to 10 day basis and maximum of 3 hunters preferred. Any changes to these requirements by arrangement only. Price is all inclusive except Alcohol and Trophy Fee on Scrub Bulls.

Northern Territory

BUFFALO & SCRUB BULL SAFARIS

Buff Hunts commence with a Commercial Jet picking you up at Darwin (Northern Territory) Airport for the flight to the hunting area in Eastern Northern Territory. You will then be picked up by me for a short 1 to 2 hr drive depending on which camp is to be utilised. Each camp is set up with running water, tents, swags & stretchers, Showers and electricity via Generator.

Hunts are conducted during the cooler months of June & July so the daily temperature is around 25 -28c with comfortable nights around 15-18c. This area has no other Safari operators and the Buff are considered to be much quieter than their northern counterparts. The area supports excellent numbers of Buff with huge Scrub Bulls & a few large Boars mixed in. The country is open paperbark forest with some rocky areas. We don't hunt the floodplains so the hunting is considered far better for the Bowhunter (Back up Rifle is carried at all times).

Hunts are limited to a Maximum of 4 hunts per year in Groups of 2 hunters (6 days). Any changes to number via arrangement only. Price all inclusive includes Flights to and from Hunting Area Ex Darwin. Caping Extra. Trophy Fees apply by request.

Your Safari commences from Townsville with a short 3 hr drive to the property located on the Great Basalt Wall, Charters Towers. There you will be treated to some of the best Chital Hunting in Australia. The area is renown for some impressive heads and are regularly seen over 30 inches.

These Deer have the reputation as being one of the premier game animals in Australia and taking one with the Bow is a significant achievement.

Your accommodation is in Property House with all the modern amenities. We have Cold room for your venison and meathouse to prepare packing for the trip home.

The country has black soil flats with pockets of thick timber and basalt ridges so good strong footwear is essential. Spring fed creeks hold the famous Basalt Boars from time to time. The hunting is conducted either stalking or from Tree stands.

Hunts are conducted all year round except Jan & Feb (Wet Season). Your safari includes 1 Stag and as many Does as you can handle. Trophy Fees apply only to extra Stags.

Safaris are all inclusive except Alcohol.

Your hunt starts of 2 hours from Brisbane Queensland and you can be picked up at Airport (Pickup cost applies) or find your own way to the property.

We have a small cabin on the property which has a wonderful view over the surrounding hills and valleys. There is power, water, hot showers and toilet.

You can wake up each morning to the sound of rutting Stags when the Rut is in full swing. We have 2 adjoining properties which hold good numbers of stags. The hunting is right at the doorstep and we regularly see stags close to the Cabin.

Hunts are generally only run during the Rut for 2 weeks.

As we are only 1 hour from Noosa we do from time to time head to the Beach during the day for a swim and a change of pace. Trophy fees apply to Stags but each hunter gets a Hind Free. Hunts are for 5 days and are all inclusive except Alcohol.
